"So much of who we are is where we have been" ? There is so much true in this quote ?? I can really see, that each trip I take is enriching me in so many ways. It's not only about seeing new places, even though it's usually the main purpose of the whole trip. It's also showing me new perspectives. I can see how things are/are not working in other countries. How cultures and people are different and how pretty that diversity is. It helps me to get to know other cultures and to be more aware of the culture I came from.. To stop taking things for granted.. to appreciate my roots.. to perceive the world in different ways. And last, but not least- to be thankful that our world is so beautiful and so diverse and that I live in the country and in the period of time which allows me to travel and to explore all the beauty and experience all those wonderfull moments ❤? #amsterdam #netherlands
